Consultation
Why a consultation?
- To conduct a basic fitness, health and lifestyle evaluation
- To better get to know you and gain an understanding of your motives, needs and expectations
- To answer any questions you may have
- To identify realistic goals and create an action plan
- To discuss how often and when you are available to train
- To discuss any limitations, injuries, medical conditions we may need to be aware of prior to the commencement of activity
The consultation
Typically, a consultation takes approximately 60 minutes and will assess such things as current fitness level, lifestyle, nutrition, strength, flexibility, body measurements, body fat, blood pressure.
Each consultation will result in the planning of an effective, realistic and comprehensive health, lifestyle and physical program that will be closely monitored, maintained and regularly reviewed.
After the consultation
Achieving outstanding and lasting results requires many elements, including:
- Consistency and self-control
- Goals – your starting point and end goal
- Reviews - to help you realise you are making headway and are closer to achieving your goals
- A good attitude – your success will come down to more than just the ‘action’
- Organisation, structure, time management and preparation
- Someone else to be on the journey with you – to be accountable to, to encourage, motivate, keep you on track, provide understanding when you stumble, support and inspire
A Testimonial from Kell
I used to play netball twice a week plus training and umpiring. I also play tennis and do some fitness tennis workouts, but due to a bad ankle injury I sustained playing netball, I was no longer allowed to play and had to find another form of exercise. I must admit I am not a "gym" type person and don't enjoy them so when I noticed that JUMP was doing a running group, I thought it was a great opportunity for something new and a challenge. I completed the running group in 2010 and am now on Round 3, (week 10) of a 12 week challenge.
